Single-manager securities fund

The Plexus Allrounder Fund is a single-manager domestic asset allocation flexible fund. The asset allocation of the fund is managed actively in accordance with portfolio manager Ryk de Klerk’s (Plexus Investment Strategy Consultant) view on prospects for the various financial markets.

The investment objective of the Plexus Allrounder Fund is to achieve long-term capital growth and some capital stability through active asset allocation.

Multi-manager securities fund

The Plexus Flexible Income Fund is a domestic fixed-interest varied specialist fund that invests in a combination of fixed-interest securities, property and cash.

The underlying managers (the fund is a multi-manager fund) are mandated to manage their respective portfolios actively in accordance with their view on prospects for the fixed-interest market, and their exposure to the various asset classes must be varied accordingly. As the fund is a varied specialist fund, there are no restrictions regarding the average duration of the underlying securities and the managers are expected to exploit the yield curve to generate returns in excess of the money market, but without taking excessive risk.

Both the Plexus Allrounder Fund (domestic asset allocation flexible) and the Plexus Flexible Income Fund (domestic fixed interest) are included as asset class building blocks within the Plexus funds of funds product range.
